How does Vodalogic work?

Vodalogic utilises advanced sensors to monitor water levels, a controller, and a valve that connects to your existing equipment, automatically adding water as needed. Operating via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, it eliminates the need for extensive excavation to connect wires to the sensor or controller.
What are the benefits of using Vodalogic?

Vodalogic enables you to remotely top up your pool to maintain an optimal water level. It also helps detect potential leaks via a user-friendly mobile app available on Apple and Android devices.
Is Vodalogic suitable for all types of pools?

Yes, Vodalogic is compatible with residential, commercial, and spa setups of any size or type. It also works with ponds and water features.
Does Vodalogic save water?

Absolutely. The system precisely detects and adjusts water levels, allowing you to monitor usage and identify costly leaks or water wastage.

What does the Vodalogic app do?

The app allows users to monitor water levels and receive alerts about their pool’s level and temperature.
Can the app notify users of potential issues?

Yes, the app provides notifications for:

  • Low water levels
  • Overflow risks
  • Sensor disconnection or dislodgement
  • Controller disconnection
  • Valve disconnection
  • Temperature changes
  • Automation start and finish
  • Manual fill started and finished
  • Firmware updates (available, in progress, complete, or failed)
Is Vodalogic app easy to set up?

Yes! All you need to do is download it from App Store or Play Store and set up an account. We provide step-by-step instructions for connecting your sensors and getting started.
Does the Vodalogic app require Wi-Fi?

The app works on any network connection, (eg cellular). However, Bluetooth is required to communicate with the controller, and the controller needs a 2G Wi-Fi connection.
How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account by logging into the Vodalogic app, navigating to More in the bottom right-hand corner, selecting Account Settings, and then tapping on “Delete Account?” at the bottom of the page. You will then be presented with a confirmation to make sure you would like to delete your account. When you select “Yes, delete my account”, you will be logged out and your account will be deleted. What do Vodalogic sensors measure?

The sensors measure water levels and temperature in your pool or spa, detecting any variations that need adjustment.
Are the sensors waterproof?

Yes, they are fully submersible and built for underwater use.
How accurate are Vodalogic sensors?

The sensors provide precise measurements, maintaining water levels within ±2mm of the desired level.
Do the sensors require maintenance?

Minimal maintenance is required. Regular cleaning to remove debris or algae build-up is recommended, as is reconfiguring the sensor after any maintenance.
What happens if a sensor fails?

The app will notify you if the sensor battery is low, the sensor is dislodged, or the controller cannot detect the sensor. If needed, the sensor can be replaced independently. New sensors can be paired with your existing Vodalogic hardware through the app.
Can Vodalogic sensors be installed in any pool?

Yes, the sensors are suitable for pools and spas of any shape, size, or material.
Do the sensors need calibration?

Calibration is easily done via the app with a simple tap during the pairing process.

Installation and Setup
Is Vodalogic easy to install?

Yes, Vodalogic includes detailed instructions for installation. Professional installation is optional but recommended for more complex setups.
Can Vodalogic be retrofitted to existing pools?

Yes, it’s designed to work with both new and existing pool systems.
Does Vodalogic require plumbing adjustments?

Minimal plumbing adjustments are required. A 20mm connection from the mains water supply to the pool equipment is necessary.

What should I do if Vodalogic stops working?

Check the app for error notifications and follow the troubleshooting steps provided. If necessary, contact customer support for assistance.
What is the warranty on Vodalogic?

Vodalogic provides a three-year warranty.
Can software or firmware be updated?

Yes, app updates are available through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Firmware updates for the controller are delivered via the app, allowing you to install them at your convenience.
